The Teague's -- Part 3 -- By Meg

On Wednesday we had lots of things going on. First, we went and visited Pizano's family again and got to see the new baby.

We also went to Temane.
That was the community outside of town where we help plant a new church.

If you remember Mom's friend, Celistina, that was very sick last year.
She is very sick again. This is Mom checking on her.
Some of the members of the Temane congregation gathered in the new church building to greet us.
It was awesome to see how much time and care had gone into the church building since we left
and how proud they are to have a place of worship.
Pizano asked Mr. Teague to to say a couple of words.
This is the outside of their new church. They are growing!
The church has been talking about going across the marsh and evangelizing over there.

Ninja moves!!!
Later that morning we stopped in to say good-bye to our dear friend João Sulude.

Mr. Teague got to give his ball cap to Pastor João.
In the afternoon, the men got to go to Sipinho with an IMB friend, Anthony, and Pastor Sabrino.
They go there every week just like we did in Temane.
They are doing the same thing there. Teaching basic Bible classes.

Along the way they encountered a man selling fish and little sharks.

This is the bridge that they have to cross to get to where they are evangelizing.

That night we went to the hotel Chaubo for dinner with all of the missionaries there.
But, we failed to get a picture of everyone! :(

Up next: Our interesting car ride!

Hugs,
Meg
