Homeschool Conference -- By Meg

*Our internet has been very bad the past 2 weeks. So sorry I haven't gotten this published sooner.*

So about 4 weeks ago we left Nampula to head to a homeschool conference with other homeschoolers in Africa. Our friends the Harells and another friend Jenni went with us.
We had so much fun getting to meet new friends and see old ones!

On our way!!

Two and a half hours later we arrived in Kenya!

Durring the week Emma and Lilly had to take some standardized tests.
And I (Meg) had to do some SAT/ACT prep.
We had a great week getting to know some of the other homeschoolers in Africa.

At the end of the week we had a Celebration.
The kids had a drama about the supper heroes of the Bible.
And the highschoolers did a performance with
sign language and a drama to go along with the song.
Since some of the children that participated live in high security countries we are not allowed to post pictures or videos of any of the performances with them in it.
We would love to show you how much fun we had, but are not allowed to. So sorry!

Emma singing to one of her songs that she performed.
It was so sad to leave!
We made some amazing friends and we have no idea the next time that we will see them.

Me and my great friend Anna.
On our way back home we were able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro!! SO cool
We had such a wonderful week!!!

Hugs,
Meg
