The Teague's -- Part 5 -- By Meg

We hung out around the house on Friday and then on Saturday we went to
Nacala to visit the Harrell family and go snorkeling.
We had a great day!

On the way.
Finally arriving.

After we got there we ate lunch.

Then we started our way to the beach.

In the water!!
There were many starfish.
The water felt good but it was kind-of mirky so you couldn't see as much.

Once we got on the boat Emma was messing with Andrew through the sail.
Having a little snack.
The beautiful sunset!
We had a long but wonderful day!

Hugs,
Meg

The Teague's -- Part 4 -- By Meg

So on Thursday we hopped in the car again and started our way to Nampula.
We stopped in a little town outside of town to buy some fruit.

Buying fruit in Nicoadala.
Then we stopped to visit the Oetter's in Mocuba. They are some of our IMB friends.
And then about 200km out side of Nampula something interesting happened...
In Mocuba
See the women washing clothes?
Lunch on the road.
So like I said, about 200km outside of Nampula we went over a
hill and started slamming on the brakes!
There was a man laying in the road!!!
So we pulled over and my dad and Mr. Teague got out and went to check on him.
We were not there 5 seconds and we had a huge crowd!
Boy, Americans can draw a crowd!
His motorcycle had a flat tire so my dad asked him if he needed a ride to the nearest hospital. He said yes he would like that.
He had a huge scrape on his knee so he sprayed deodorant on it!
I guess he thought it would kill the germs?!?
So long story short...my dad had a long conversation with him about salvation.
And he said that if he had died in the accident, that he would be in hell.
So dad, Mr. Teague, and our pastor went and visited him the next day.
They are still talking about things so they will be going again tomorrow.

Very tight!
Fun times!!!
We were packet tight in the car because the 2 men sat in the front seat with Dad and ALL of us had to sit in the back of the car. Then, when driving through a small town a herd of goats ran out in front of us. Dad tried to stop, but he was not able to.
So......we killed a baby goat. Oopss!
Now the Teague's understand better our need for traveling mercies!
The man who got hurt is the one beside the lady to the right.
He went to the hospital and found out that he broke his ankle.
Please pray that this man and his family's hearts will be changed
and the men will have the correct words to say to him.

Hugs,
Meg
