Trip to Imperuni -- Part 1 -- By Meg

Yesterday Dad, Lilly, and I went with our guard to help him transport some things he need to buy for his new house. First, we went and bought some tin roofing. When we got to the house that sells the tin, they brought out chairs for us to sit in (that is the custom here). While the men took the tin to the car, Lilly and I tried to interact a little with the children. Lilly was fit-to-be-tied about the kids looking at her. I talked and took pictures of the kids, that came to look at the "white children". They just laughed and laughed, but when I told them to smile they didn't do anything. So I had to teach them how to smile!
They have some pretty funny smiles!

Here are some pictures.

The children that came to see the white kids.

Hilarious!!!
She was SOO beautiful!
Dad and our guard!
This is a blog all by its self! There were these boys, that looked about 10 or 11 years old. And they were standing there with some pillars in their hands. (Like the boy in the background.) But when they saw that I had a camera, they started doing these Karate moves! It was SO funny!! Mom said it might be because they see these Karate movies down at the "Movie House". (They have these huts that you play a little amount of $ and you get to watch a movie!) They were kicking each other and bouncing around! It was SO funny!
Sweet!

More to come!

Hugs,
Meg
