Trip to Imperuni -- Part 2 -- By Meg

After we picked up the tin. We loaded up in the car and set off for Imperuni. When we got there children came up to greet us. Then after we unloaded everything we wanted to see Moniz's house. We had to travel on foot, because the car can't get to where his house is.  We didn't know it, but his family is building a completely new house! Their house right now, is about the size of a mini van. There are about 5-7 people living in that one house!
We couldn't believe it!
It didn't even look like a house!

Here are some pictures of what we did!

This is what the road looked like most of the way! We bounced a lot...as you can imagine!
Our crowd.
To get to his house you have to go through the fields! His house is on the other side of the field!
His current house...well...not really a house!
Moniz, his family and their new house! Moniz is so proud of it!
He is the one on the far left and his wife is in the middle with the yellow shirt.
They have 5 children. The baby is the older daughter's baby.
She looks about 15 years old and she already has a baby!
Beautiful!

After we left, we went home and had some very yummy dinner!
Please pray that the families in this village will have money to have good nourishing food.

Hugs,
Meg
