After a couple of days of car trouble we finally got to Zambia.
We stayed in Lusaka, the capital, a couple of days then we went to Lake Kariba Inns.
When we got to Lake Kariba Inns we checked-in, swam a bit and went to worship.
After worship we ate dinner and talked with friends.
I totally forgot to get the camera and take some pictures so words will just have to do.
But I can show you some pictures of what the next couple of days looked like .
This is what the rooms looked like. Mom and Dad had a room and us 3 girls had a room. |
This is what the other side of the rom looked like. |
My parents had some termites in their room. |
Housekeeping knocked down the tunnel but the termites built it back up quickly. |
The bathroom. |
You can't live in Africa without having a gecko in your room. |
Every morning we (the adults and youth) would be in the conference room for worship.
The youth would usally sit in the back. |
The adults would also listen to Pastor David talk. |
The youth would then go to our study time.
We would discuss our lesson for that day.
After that we would play some games.
Every morning and afternoon we would have "tea time". |
After tea time we would go to youth worship. Our theme was White Flag.
They gave us a white flag to remember what we had been taught.
"We lift the cross.." |
After lunch we swam for most of the rest of the day.
We also had some special activities.
That is what most every day looked like.
Coming up next... Some of the extra fun things we did!
Hugs,
Meg
