Rats are always a problem, we suppose, in the city. Lately we have had many issues with them. While we were in South Africa, rats ate the wiring on our washing machine that sits on our back porch. Lee had to do quite a bit of work on it to get it working again. Then, at some point in the last few months, rats ate up the wiring in an extra truck that is being housed in our backyard. We had to have a mechanic re-do the wires through out the dash.
A couple of days ago we noticed rats going back in the truck that we just had fixed. So Emma, Lilly, and Dad go outside to try to kill the rats. Our dogs are great guard dogs because they like to kill rats and guard at the same time! This particular day Dad was trying to get the rat to run out of the car for Riley to catch. It is very interesting..... but I (Meg) didn't really see the killing part because I ran screaming into the house.

Here is video that I (Meg) made of the catching of the rats. Look hard and you can see Riley catching it. I am running so fast I don't know if you can see it....but you will get the point...
